“Pinagawa ko na (ang resolusyon) at titingnan ko, tutal ipa-file ko ‘yan pero we will take that up when we open because there is no session baka April na,” ayon kay Enrile.

“Alam mo, lahat sila sapagkat collegial body yun, one is not the commission. So, they must share the responsibility for the fiasco that has happened.

“Sabi nga ni Martinez, ‘I am only one commissioner, I cannot influence the decision of the commission.

“That’s good, at least now the Palace has taken note of what is happening. Kami naman sa Senado, there’s nothing personal about this, we’re doing it as duly elected representatives of the people and as members of Congress who appropriate the money to pay the salaries of these people,” aniya.

“We have the power over the purse. Kami ang nagba-budget. Now, if they are not performing their job, it’s our duty to see to it that these people will not stay in their jobs, they must be disciplined,” ayon kay Enrile.

– GMANews.TV
